About Me.
I am a graduate in BA (Hons) Surface Design and Printed Textiles.
I like to experiment mostly with a range of techniques such as continuous line drawing, machine stitching, string and ink drawing and observational drawing. I feel that these techniques create loose, busy and detailed marks, making the viewer want to look closer and explore. I also love to make quirky bespoke pieces ranging from jewellery and accessories to homeware and decorations.
The three main elements I love to have in my work are colour, texture and plenty of detail. My main inspirations are organic and natural objects due to the stunning colours and the delicateness of natural life. I enjoy working small scale and creating fiddly objects which take longer to make because the outcome always seems to be much more precious and beautiful.
